Good results in central sharpness wide open... edges need f4.0. With converter, a stop down at f5.6 is needed for good sharpness overall. The Olympus 300 f4.0 Pro is a better 300mm lens (vs Panaleica @ 280mm with 1.4x TC). AF flutters with Olympus EM1X in SAF mode... CAF mode is fine... I thought this was a Panasonic camera DFD CDAF issue only?? Construction and stabiliser is very good. Overall, reading reviews before purchase, I was expecting perfection, so a little disappointed. But if you need f2.8 @ 200mm, it is a good option.
