Dentist recently warned me about receding gums & plaque. Saw Waterpik was highly recommended & purchased one for about £48- it came from America & turned out to be incompatible with U.K. wiring- Beware! Design does look a little dated. Bought U.K. version which is much more expensive but after just a few days the change to my teeth is obvious. The toothbrush is very gentle but effective on low setting but press the button a second time and it really goes to work - but still gently. The beauty is that it hardly needs to touch the teeth to do its job. My fangs are much whiter. I don't smoke but drink strong tea all day. The water flosser takes some getting used to so make sure to use lowest setting until you get the hang of it. But at setting 5 or so it blasts out so much debris. Make sure to use warm water as cold can be uncomfortable under pressure. This is a gadget I wish I'd had years ago- might have kept more of my teeth! Expensive, but worth every penny.Read full review

The products works well but I felt is was awkward and messy. I don't think it's a design flaw jus the nature of water flossers. I gave up using it after several months. I could never get used to it above a level 4. My gums didn't like all that direct force but it did a great job of getting between my teeth. I used the tooth brush after the flosser for super clean teeth and gums.

This is my third one in over a decade+. Like the combined unit. Saves money, space and electric socket space. Prior ones were full sized while this one is compact which takes up less counter space and is less expensive. No difference in quality, function or water capacity. The only negative compared to the larger model is the toothbrush holder is not tall enough and the toothbrush is easy to knock over - not so with larger model.

Bought this item just as a curiosity. Had a waterpik when I was younger. As to the cost. Well lets just say that once you use it you will be impressed with the purchase. The waterpik works great and I feel it is made very well and definitely cleans under the gums and in between the teeth. I add a mouthwash to mine and so kind of kill two birds with one stone. The toothbrush was a very big change for me. I have used manual toothbrushes most of my life but the new sonic toothbrush. Well lets just say it was a big surprise first time I used it. I feel in my humble opinion that it seems to really be cleaning the teeth 10 times better than my manual toothbrush. I feel that I will never own another manual toothbrush again. You really need to try the new sonic toothbrushes. They are fantastic. Happy Consumer Waylin O. Goodman Jr.Read full review

Absolutely LOVE this thing! I bought this for my son that has braces. He was having issues keeping his braces clear of build up with regular brushing, a regular toothbrush. His mouth is so much cleaner now!! He gets a good clean with the electric toothbrush and the water pick gets anything that was missed. It's just great. The timer helps him to brush for appropriate amount of time, so that has helped him. So pleased, so glad I purchased this. I think the price is fair as well. I looked around before buying.

This is the second I have purchased. The first one lasted 4.5 years. Therefore it was extremely good value. I suffer from gum disease and have spent a fortune over the years in specialist dental fees. Since I started using the Waterpick. years ago, I only see the dentist twice a year. Tartar and bacteria causing my problems are much better removed by this flosser and the disease has not progressed since I have been using it. I use it after every meal and I am totally and completely satisfied

Previously I had a Braun sonic toothbrush. I prefer the Waterpik toothbrush as there are variable speeds and it feels as if I am getting a deeper clean. Considering the high cost of periodontal care, this product is well worth the price.

Dragged my feet getting this unit Ann I'm now happy I did Toothbrush addition is a plus worth the extra Starting with the water flusher attachment and a little concerned with identifying water pressure for the others. It's all in the manual so just a learning curve is needed I

We love the WaterPik water flosser and sonic toothbrush. My dentist said I have very healthy gums and no plack. I have used the WaterPik brush and flosser for at least 15 years and swear by it.
