Great little file server
I atually have two of these, one is a family file server, holds all our music, videos and personal files. The other one is a backup of the first. It's super easy to setup scheduled backups, setup share folders, all of it. Qnap has a pretty good stash of instructional videos online to show you how to use some of the major features. Great NAS with many bonuses!
Purchased to be my personal NAS for backup and recovery. Once I found all the apps that QNAP supplies online for download it has become so much more than that. It is a great storage center for music and video streaming, a personal cloud center, and many more capabilities I have yet to use. One recommendation is to check the QNAP support site and only use recommended compatible drives from list for your NAS..
