Works... but w/o extender
Does exactly what is should do, just out of the box. Perfect for Kodi. However, for some reason, it does not work w/ passive USB extender cable. I have tried a 0.5m USB 2.0 (short like hell, should not be a problem) and a 1.8m USB 3.0 (better-than-needed signal quality due to USB 3.0), but neither worked. W/ the 0.5m could sometimes send some signals through, but the other did nothing... Maybe I should try with an active HUB? Or maybe the port in the PC is bad, but it has no other issue till now (Intel chipset). Till then, I keep my small PC at the right place to receive the signals. Moreover, while I was plugging the FLIRC in and out, I may grabbed it at the wrong part and it fall to two pieces. Not a big deal, Just some cover went off, which I could immediately put back (it's ok till than), but the assembly seems to be not too durable.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great For Kodi
I have 2 of the Generation 1 devices and they have both been flawless! I use them on Zotac Zboxes with Western Digital Live TV Hub remotes (Pictured)! I can it the Flirc with these remotes from down the hallway into my living room as their IR beam is so strong! So I recommend getting one of these remotes if you can. Other remotes I tried just wouldn't cut the mustard! Harmony remotes are really great too!
