Very Efficient value for money unit
A Very Efficient value for money upgraded unit which replaces the original Old Truma 240v/gas caravan boiler units. All water and power connections are compatible with the old units, however the new one also comes with a manual pressure relief valve, the protective casing has been significantly upgraded from the old cardboard one and the gas connection has been changed, which simply necessitated the purchase of an additional elbow with the right connector.lVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

Happy but not happy
Happy I got a new hot water system to fit exactly, well nearly, unhappy that no mention that the gas connections are completely different and had to get gas fitter in to change the old fittings in caravan to fit new system, couple more hundred dollars I didn’t expect.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Hoping this one lasts longer than the previous two.
This is my third Truma gas/electric HWS. The previous two leaked. Being made of stainless steel, there is no maintenance required, but I am not surprised that they have had bad reviews from other RV owners. If replacing an older model B14, some minoir adjustments required.
The footprint is the same as the earlier model B14 apart from the fact that the gas connection has been altered requiring alterations to the inlet fittings, and the 240 volt connection is no longer hardwired but simply plugs into a wall outlet. This means that there is no longer any indication whether or not the 240volt side is switched on. If the wall switch is on, the boiler is on!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Maybe this new one is an improvement

Need to fit it
Looks the part ,have to pull the faulty one out and fit this new one ,hope it lasts longer than the first one ,inner tank leaks from the fused welding ,replaced it when it was two year old ,now same thing has happened had to purchase the whole unit after 8 years from previous fault ,Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
