Well I bought this as a. replacement for a device I accidentally destroyed the screen on that belonged to a family member. I got the replacement it was brand new and functions as it is supposed to. It has improvements over the old machine. I intent to repai to older machine as both are worth it when you need them. I use the Garmin to locate businesses that are strange or out of area.

I have used Garmin Gps' for years... It was time to replace my unit.... I ordered it and I was surprised how fast it arrived... Then the night mare begins.... No quick start instructions... Have to go to the internet for instructions. They are very hard to set up.. I have had for several days now and its still not setup. Shame on Garmin for doing this really big change in operation.. I cannot say at this time if I am happy with this unit.Its a lot harder to use than my old 52.

It helps me alot
I am a courier and don’t want to drain my phone battery so I got this. I like being able to store addresses etc. I need to fine tune it for my use. Updating the firmware and maps was easy and it did so without any problems. I had a Magellan that I couldn’t update because memory space ran out and couldn’t make it work. So far so good.

Better than my old GPS
I purchased this model because of the price point and because I've been satisfied with other Garmin products in the past. I had recently purchased a different GPS (not a Garmin) that was very complicated to use, took forever to calculate, and yelled at me when I traveled above the speed limit. This one is easy to use and reroutes very quickly. I also like that it warns you when the speed limit is about to change without being obnoxious. The display is super easy to understand and follow along with. It gets the job done and gets me where I need to go.
