GOOD FILM, BUT NOT BEST PICTURE OF THE YEAR
While Best Picture Oscar winner GREEN BOOK is a completely enjoyable companion to another very similar picture ... Best Picture Oscar winner DRIVING MISS DAISY ... it's also a film that couple have been made at any time in the last thirty years or more.It's well acted, well directed and a good way to pass an evening. But it's an awfully safe choice for Best Picture. VICE is a much more inventive film. BLACK KLANSMAN is a much more challenging film if one wants to stay with a period piece dealing with race. Pretty much your call. I think VICE should have won for both Best Picture and Best Actor.

Truly a very good movie!
Not knowing much about this movie, I was only aware of its stature as being nominated for many awards when I ordered it. But having seen a very brief scene in a commercial I was instantly intrigued however and wanted to add it to my collection. After watching it I was thoroughly impressed by the characters and the story line, and I enjoyed it greatly. I recommend it!

WRONG AGAIN
Despite quality of actors, the movie was historically incorrect, as more people of color from the north spent time in the south the more biased the south became this is what bred racism of today, read more about the death of northerners in the dirty south that lost their lives
