Distortion issues.
I am a big fan of Paul McCarney and I love the album Ram. Unfortunately, the 50th anniversary half-speed vinyl, at least the copy I purchased, is not a good pressing. On side two, the last three songs have distortion issues. I'm not certain how modern vinyl can't be made as well as vinyl from the past. I also find the cost of vinyl these days is expensive.

50 Years?
That’s impossible. It can’t be a 50 year old recording. This is the best vinyl record I’ve ever heard. Paul is great of course. The story here is the incredible sound quality of this pressing.

Not the best !
My copy was completely sealed with a sticker on the back said made in Germany. Side 1 was excellent, side 2 suffered from distortion on some songs. Especially the 1st chord on Eat at home is total distortion. Every other copy I have don't have this noise on it.
