Sounds from when my grandmother and mother were young.
My mother and grandmother listened to the Carter family on the radio and I have heard many stories and remembrances from them about those times. My grandmother's family were early (before the Constitution!) settlers of what was then (late 1700's) the "Wild West", KENTUCKY. This is not bluegrass music but the same folks who love mountain folk music will like this. Johnny Cash married June Carter whose parents are on album cover.
