Straight out of the arcade comes VR Virtua Racing. Everything is intact and new features have been added as well. There are ten different tracks to compete on in VR Virtua Racing: Amazon Falls, Speedway, Big Forrest, Alpine, Bay Bridge, Surfer, Diablo, Acropolis, Metroplois, and Pacific Grand Prix. Also included are five vehicles, fifteen racing teams, and three modes of play. The five vehilces are: Go Kart, Coupe, F-160, GTP, and F-1. <br><br>Arcade, Grand Prix, and Practice are the modes of play. In the Arcade mode players race against the clock as they attempt to reach each checkpoint in a limited amount of time. Grand Prix starts players with the Go Kart and they must work their up to the F-1 car. Points are gained through top finishes and when a determined amount of points are reached the player advances to the next level. Great game!
I never got to play the arcade version of Virtua Racing, and after I tried the Sega Genesis version I thought I'd give the Saturn version a try. I was not disappointed. While challenging, it was a lot of fun to play. Having the choice of 5 different cars (2 formula-based cars, coupe, go-kart, and a Le Mans-based prototype car) and many different tracks from around the world makes the game a new experience every time I play it. What makes this even better is the Grand Prix mode, which plays like your basic career mode. You pick a racing team and start driving go-karts. You have to win 2 races with this go-kart to "graduate" on to the next car. You repeat this until you've won at least 2 races with each car in the game. With this mode, the car selection, track selection, and the new feel you get playing it every time, it's a quality product that I would highly recommend for your Saturn. 5 stars.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

This is a great video game was released back in 1992 and was a huge success on the slot machines.
