Amps REALLY DO COUNT!
Had many drills - but this 10 AMP is far superior to any 20 or 24 V Cordless, or even an 8 amp A/C drill. If you were using it full speed and the bit suddenly locked in a piece of steel, you would surely break your wrist without the grip. Great drill! . . . but requires you to change your behavior. Great heavy duty tool!
Dewalts are great tools and the DWD210G especially because of the handle locking tabs built into the nose of the drill motor which keeps the handle locked in place while drilling or using hole saws. I like it!
Good, ergonomic tool. Workhorse, I used it for mortar mixing, and it gets warm. Foe the same job, my Hitachi have smoked. The side handle helps a lot in keeping the tool strait.
