    Digital calipers.

    The item arrived quick with free shipping, which is always a plus. So far the calipers are reading measurements correctly and are easy to see/read. It has three separate functions MM, Fractions and Inches. Extremely easy to use and comes with instructions and two batteries. I would definitely recommend this product for anyone wanting a set of digital calipers.

    128th come on....

    Goes to 128 instead of just 64th, that's a lot of numbers I have to scroll past for nothing. It has auto off but NO auto on, my last one I just pick it up and scroll either way and it was on. At first I didn't like these calipers at all but some how there growing on me. Maybe it's just the month I had to use my other calipers which have a dial. After that I'll take any thing digital. Another thing is the readout is beyond large getting close to ridiculous. I hated that at first, guess I'm use to it already. For the most part there great working calipers. A fair bit of the design is just useless. I really hate that the fractional scale goes past 64th. I'm getting better at scrolling extremely slow cause that doesn't bother me much any more. For me these aren't keep the same set for years. I'm looking for a different set or a really good price on one.

    Very low quality calipers. Kind of what you would expect for chinese tools and for the price.

    The outside caliper jaws are not parallel. So measurements using the outside caliper jaws (for measuring outside diameters) are up to .33mm different depending on where the measured part is located along the caliper jaws. Also, the caliper inside jaws (for measuring inside diameters of pipe or whatever) are about 1/16" not in the same plane. It has metal burrs all along the edges of the jaws left from machining. These calipers are very low quality. I suspect the postage to return it would cost as much as the part was to buy. So buyer be ware. There ought to be some standard of quality that would keep this kind of poor quality stuff out of e-bay.

    Impressive quality in build and operation

    You can spend many times the price for a famous make of Japanese caliper, but it's hard to see why you would need better than this EZ Cal. Fit and finish are excellent with clean machining and smooth snug action of all parts. Choice of read-out in mm, or inches with decimal, or inches with fractions is surprisingly useful depending on the situation. LCD read-out screen very legible. Measurement is consistently repeatable and is consistent whether using O.D. jaws or I.D. points. I can't test absolute accuracy, but consistency is equally important. Sturdy plastic case with foam padding has smooth convenient latch. A case that's easy and pleasant to use means you'll be more likely to keep the caliper protected so it keeps working accurately. Used many times a week for over a year and performs like new. Now that I have a good caliper, I am surprised by how many situations where it is handy. No more guessing at sizes of nuts when reaching for a wrench. But also many other mundane uses that eliminate annoying ambiguity.

    If the rest they're selling are like this one - then don't bother

    I purchased one of these exact same units about 8 years ago and it was perfect. This one has the display turning on and off and the readout slides down the graduated scale while reading zeroes randomly and each time you slide it back to origin is is so far off from the number you started with, it's nothing but a waste of your time. Better to use a precision ruler than this joke of a product. Way flaky and just the simple movement of sliding it down the scale causes all kinds of random values when compared to one I've used before that actually works.

    Dollar for Dollar one of the best calipers for engineering I've ever used!

    In my honest opinion as an X aerospace manufacturing engineer, this is dollar for dollar the best caliper out there. You can spend more and get better accuracy but your gonna spend a lot more for a little bit of additional accuracy. This thing has been spot on measure after measure has a very solid feeling build and operates smoothly and goes back to zero ever time I've used it. Just keep it clean and you'll have a very reliable accurate and good looking caliper. I highly recommend it.

    Electronic caliper

    I have a myriad of drill bits all over my shop. Many not in nice case holders which specify the size of the bit. This caliper allows me to quickly measure these drill bits. Battery that came installed was bad, but the extra battery worked fine.
