I was very happy to find this CPU very fast. I have it water cooled with a Corsair H80i V2 and it runs very cool all the time. I have Windows 10 set to 100% minimum CPU state so it sits on 4GHz all the time and only turbos up to 4.3GHz and still runs very cool. Max 45 C under load so far on a warm day, 28-35 C at idle depending on external temps so far but I haven't seen an Australian summer yet... fingers crossed! Happy to find I didn't need to spend more on a faster chip because watching the monitoring programs it is keeping up with my other medium to high end components. I have it running with 3600Mhz RAM, GTX 1660 Super and Z490 MB and it is very comfortable and is not letting the team down at all.
