Typical Philips excellent quality. Well designed. Faultless operation. I'm really pleased with the image quality and straight-forward operation of this monitor. It was easy to set up and both looks and works well. I'd certainly recommend it to anyone who wants a reliable, good quality monitor that is soundly engineered and not complicated with silly gimmicks or features. This monitor simply works.

I am told good monitor for the money, with a low power usage of 14.59 Watts and low 0.3 Watts during Standby & Off Mode, this saves you energy over a year's use and wasting time turning them off and on, let your computer do it for you, These tests are as per the Energy Star Standard Test. There are now newer Phillips monitors with faster speed and timings and maybe $20 to 50 more but this model is good for the price and suits my requirement's. I have set the four I have had since early 2021 on the same preconfigured Phillips image setting "Internet" on each Display and they all are exactly the same and color matched for my desktop publishing and email writing and home office work.

I bought this monitor to replace a 27 inch Philips curved monitor that my cat very generously knocked over while I had it in my computer shed . This monitor seems to work well and colors and clarity seem good. I still preferred the curved monitor but I have no complaints with regards to this monitor. It is a personal preference but I still prefer the curved screen . I bought the flat panel mainly because it was at a very good price. To be honest my personal preference aside for curved I can not fault this screen and would recommend it to any potential buyers looking for a screen to use for gaming.

I have four of these Phillips model 272V8A screens in use at my home study since early 2021, all perform to specifications. The power usage is also very, very good, if not the best in it's class. Each screen I am told is rated at about 15 watts when tested at the energy star standard, while other brands are 35 watts or 50 watts. Over a year, each screen saves a considerable amount of energy for the same initial purchase price.
