I bought this book in 2006 when first published but over the years I lost my original copy or loaned it out so I ordered this copy to replace it. I enjoyed the book when first read in 2006 and enjoyed it when I read again in 2022. You just can't go wrong by reading one of Terry Brooks wonderful books. • Armageddon's Children

A prequel about what happens after all hell breaks loose in what was once modern day Earth, particularly the USA. This is the beginning of Shannara and the people we know and love. This book is the start of how it all came to past.
