Dire Straits live albums are even better. They are a very good rock and roll band, even today. Such talent in the whole band, great music to listen to. Their greatest music time frame, in my opinion, is in the 1985 to early 1990. Mark had finally completed "The Whole Package" in the band. If you are not a Dire Straits fan, then you are really missing the boat. bali2112

no great songs but, brothers in arms...actually i bought it as a reference album for sound systems. and reference when mixing albums. it's sad because, Mark knopler is able to do better. He did better on a Bryan Ferry "boys and girls" album, in 1985 But overall the album had a great exposure, and it sounded good.

This release on CD is a new milestone in sound reproduction, the wide spread of digital technology, and a new level of world entertainment industry. This is the very first press on a CD made in Western Germany on the equipment PHILIPS contains the digits 02 * in the matrix, the disc with such a matrix has the same mastering as the Warner version and the Vertigo version. Its sound is rated as one of the reference among the CDs. Copies with a matrix 02 * are very rare and very expensive and therefore highly valued by collectors, he posted in a sd-case with smooth sides. This is the original very first release of this album released in 1985.

This 'album' is a tremendous grouping of songs written by the man who has poetry in his soul. In '85, it was the latest example of Mark Knopfler's ability to tell a story or relate a life with words that surely come from a gifted mind. Musically, the 'album' is what you'd expect from this guitar virtuoso and his gathering of splendid musicians. They work together to produce melodies and heart-moving sounds that convey perfectly the purpose of each song. I L-O-V-E "Brothers In Arms." Mark Knopfler: there's not enough good to say about your work.
