In fact I never had the chance to listen to Bad Company's "Live Albuquerque 1976" 2CD set. I know it was released commercially by Angel Air Records some years ago, then it was withdrawn because of copyright problems. This disc can be found today, but prices seem unrealistic and I do not know if it's worth or not. As the quality of the record is described as very good, I do expect to have it re-released soon by a major label, in a definitive edition - who knows? Update: I found one copy at a reasonable price on eBay and have to confess that the show is really great and will please all fans of the group. On the other hand, the sound quality should be improved a little, in my opinion. Again, I hope there will be a future definitive release.
I was a bit wary of buying this as I knew that it was withdrawn from sale not long after it was released. This is the genuine article licensed to Angel Air by Mick Ralphs himself. Released in 2006 thirty years after it was recorded it features the original Bad Company line-up in all their glory. Great songs from their first three albums. Well worth the purchase. The recordings were provided by Mick Ralphs from his private collection. It makes you wonder what other gems he might have.

This is a true recording of the band without the watered down guitar sound. You can hear Micks Burst scream and growl. That’s what I wanted. I’ve seen them live and listened to the Don Kirsners live concert and couldn’t get that sound. This is a great recording of them exactly like they sounded in stage

Recording quality is not all that great but if you are a fan of the band you will not mind. It is a historical doccumentation of a great band at the peak of their popularity. Great performances of some of their greatest hits. Bad Company did not perform their songs live to sound exactly like their records. That is very evident on this recording.
this is the best chance to hear bad company live in the 1970s quality is excellent and I just think it should be on general release

I bought this CD set because I have been a life-long fan of BAD CO, but never had the fortune to see them play, ever. And they are still playing today, though we have now lost lovely Boz Burell. But this CD set will be the closest I ever get to an actual live show 'back in the day', and I absolutely love it!!! I am thankful that Mick Ralphs recorded this, or I would never have been able to hear their live sound as an entire stage set. It is wonderful. Thank you Ralpher!! I would compare the sound quality of this set to any other live CD I have purchased. I am enjoying it thoroughly. I would recommend this to anyone who wishes to hear what BAD CO sounded like on stage. Excellent!!!!!
Awesome cd from a great band
