Rock solid film camera.
This is as good as a 35mm film camera you can get. It works with all the Canon EF lenses. It has M, A, and T modes, built in light meter, and auto focus. It is rock solid. I like it because I have many Canon EF and compatible lenses from shooting Canon digital for many years. This camera allows me to shoot film and have some fun trying different film stocks. I am very happy with this camera.

If you want a modern SLR that can use all the same lenses and speedlites as your canon DSLR then this is one of the best options out there and in my opinion it is the best option. I love the ergonomics

As far as film cameras go you can't go wrong with this one. It may not be the most user-friendly but if you're familiar with Canon then you'll do fine with this camera. It's definitely different than digital but it's very easy for me to go between my 5D Mark iii and the 1V.
