I wonder how many people (or Bewitched fans) knows how 'Tabatha' became 'Tabitha'... The story started in Hong Kong, where stealing, cheating and faking original products was (and still is, as in China) a way of life. They started to manufacture a doll (stealing the ideea from a Bewitched episode with the clown and 'Tabatha Doll' ideea) adn puting it on the (international) market as 'Tabitha' in order not to get into (legal) trouble with the rights about the name 'Tabatha'. The americand public (which hardly reads the actor names at the end of the episodes, esspecially when these are hardly shown beacuse of the disturbing comercials), seeing the doll in the shops with the name 'Tabitha', asumed that this is (and has anything to do with and represents) the girl in Bewitched. Soon everybody started to talk about her (and call her) 'Tabitha'. The Bewitched producers, also knowing about this doll and how the people call the girl in their series, in order to attract as bigger public as possible, started to give the public wat they want (and HOW they wanted) and started to mention 'Tabitha - Erin Murphy' at the end of each episode in place of 'Tabatha - Erin Murphy' as it was in the first seasons (and as the REAL name is/was). Wrong decision! (in place of correcting the mistake, they deepend it). Soon everybody was 'sure' that the name is and allways was 'Tabitha' and never 'Tabatha'. Even the fake/imitation series made much later (imitating Tabatha from Bewitched as grown woman) was called 'Tabitha'. So, here you have it. Like the saying: 'One retaard throw a stone in the river and 10 rocket scientists are not able to take it out' (because in the river all the stones are the same...) Conclusion: The series are the best series ever (and allways makes you happy when you watch it, forgeting about the hushness of life, like ABBA music does) and it should get a legend-status, but at least the fans should get it right when they talk about it. (The name is TABATHA! Not 'tabitha')Read full review

Sadly this is the last season that Aunt Clara (Marion Lorne) will appear, shortly before the making of Bewitched Season 5 Marione Lorne passed away from a sudden heart attack. Bewitched was a family show from the 1960's centering around Samantha Stephens (Elizabeth Montgomery) a beautiful witch who marries a mortal. Even though she tries to give up using her witchcraft to please her husband, she still ends up using it and the results are hilarious! Even the special effects of the time, however primitive by today's standards, were excellent. Some volumes have extras (documentaries, etc) which are very interesting to watch. The late Agnes Moorehead plays Samantha's mother Endora, who despises her son-in-law Darrin (played by Dick York, and later Dick Sargent). Her vocal inflections, combined with her sharp wit, make her an irreplacable and unforgettable character. Although, sometimes, you can spot some duplication in or rewriting of a prior script, the series remains an all-time favorite today. Many baby-boomers will remember this show and a simpler time in this country's thinking. Late baby-boomers (born between 1957-1960) were probably raised with this show on, and many young males though of Samantha as a great wife or mother. I remember this show fondly from my childhood, that Thursdays at 8:30 PM the television was mine just so I could watch Bewitched. I'm glad it is now available, uncut and restored.Read full review
From the same era as the more recent Mad Men series, offers historical insight, in a comedic fantisy setting. Great looking clothes and settings. And Liz Montgomery, is stunning, Dick York is charming and very likeable, as also born out in real ilfe.
