Only 5 players to a team. No headers or trick shots, no tournament/World Cup feature, weird dribbling. Despite this, the game flows well and the graphics are perfect for a NES black box game. The somewhat slower pace compared to games like Goal! or Nintendo World Cup Soccer well captures the strategy and intricacy of the "beautiful game." Easy goalkeeper controls also make goals just as tough to score as in real soccer matches. And finally, the side perspective makes a lot more sense and makes it easier to control than the weird isometric perspective of Goal! IMO the best balance between realistic and arcade-y as far as NES soccer games go.

If you're looking for a good old school soccer game........keep looking, cause this ain't it! Very slow, unexciting gameplay. They really want me to use at least 100 characters, but that's REALLY asking a lot with this boring, very, very boring game.
Good
