I remember back in Christmas 1991, my older half-brother got this game as a gift and me and him would play the hell outta this game!!! I have NOT played this game since mid-1992. I was about to enter the second grade. Up until now I never thought I'd be able to play this game again, so to take away from that, I ordered this game for my birthday last month and each time I play this game, I think of back in the day some 30-add years ago when I was a school kid. Now that I got this game I am lovin' it more but last but not least...a challenging but fun game!!! I just wish the game wasn't so pricy though, no offense lol.

This game appeared in the arcade around the late eighties say 1988 to early nineties say 1992, Toaplan's hellfire didn't really set the arcade world on fire predominately due to the hugely popular World Wrestling Federation (WWF) Wrestle fest, but as a child I was never given enough money to feed my arcade craving, so after one or two goes of World Wrestling Federation (WWF) Wrestle fest I was down to a few ten pence's (10p) and well wrestle fest was normally either 50p or a pound £1 so I wondered around and found this classic and to the fact it was twenty pence (20p) and could go on for at least 1/2 an hour. But back to the intro I was caving out before my nostalgia kicked in and went walkabout. Perhaps it was the fact that graphically speaking it wasn't the most exciting coin op in the arcade. But the original game play set it apart from the norm, at a time when companies could come up with were tepid R- Type / Flying Shark clones. This game should have been an arcade classic but all it seamed to do was get moved further and further from the centre of the arcade.Read full review
Great game really! My friend growing up had this game and we always found it to be one of the best shooters for the sega genesis. It is extremely difficult but worth playing if you like a challenge. Here are my highlights for this game * Very Challenging Shooter * Strong 16 Bit Graphics * Unique up and down and side to side shooter - If you die, you'll find you are always placed at the hardest part of the stage with no power ups making it difficult to get further. - There is no way to change your guns quick enough since you need to press the over and over to get to the guns you want to use.
This game is great and testes the skills of the player and must be played a lot to get a handle on it and is worth buying.

This isn’t the greatest shoot em up but it’s pretty fun cool gimmick being able to shoot in all directions sets it apart from other shooters it’s hard as hell tho boss fights are long and grueling each stage gets progressively harder as you go.

ill tell you what, when i first heard about this game from a fellow gamer, i was hesitant, first off, its from the genesis era, and second, i didnt know i was a "shooter" person, until i played this game! Its one of them really hard games and takes alot of practice, but then again i wasnt really challenged back then during that time, but today, whenever i play this game it takes me back to when i was younger and had more reflexes! ha ha ha good game, loved it since i first played it, and if your anything like me, you want to pick this game up.
Another great, to the point space shooter!
