I bought the PS2 Eyetoy for my twin boys age 7. They wanted a Wii, and being a single dad, I cant afford that. The boys play the ps2 alot so this was a cheaper way to be interactive. There are not a bunch of games for the Eyetoy but they are fun. The eyetoy uses your face as the controller. It takes a bit to get used too. I do enjoy playing the game with my boys. For a cheaper add-on to you PS2, it is well worth your money.
Well I am disabled and just had surgery on my sinuses, any way if you order this camera you get the same game with it, they sell them at Walmart for 20 dollars and I spent nearly that just on the game. My meds makes it where I do not understand the reding on the exactual thing that is why I get anoher person to read it too me now. I just want her to take the negative off my account cause I paid immediatly!
Actually works on the Ps3. It is perfect for focusing with Lens to get crisper clearer Little Big Planet Photos online. Sadly the PS3 EYE only has two default focus options while the Ps2 Eyetoy has a Manuel focus. Not to mention they both take the same "still image" resolution. If you need a good camera for still pictures on Little Big Planet for Ps3 this is perfect. If you need a good webcam for recording video and sound on Ps3 and PC then get a Ps3 Eye. ^_^
I bought the Eyetoy and was very impressed with the features available on this inexpensive digital color web cam that connects to the PS2 USB port. They allows players to put a digital version of themselves into a series of shallow mini-games . A great product for PS2. Lots and lots of fun!!! The games and the technology behind them are as simple as can be, but the entire package together is a stunning bit of fun.
I bought this game to complete a loose disc that I had and found it a lot of fun to play with my nephews.
Verified purchase: Yes | Condition: Pre-owned
Overall, I liked it. I bought the product for my PS2 and the actual EyeToy works. The game disc, however, was scratched. The first time I played the disc, the intro segment would freeze up. I was taught to clean the disc with rubbing alcohol when it does that. I did, and the disc finally allowed me to play the games. The games didn't freeze up on me like it did in the intro section. So, with the exception of the disc freezing on me in the beginning, I was very pleased with the product.
I love the EyeToy I bought it and was firstly confused a bit (on how to use it). But no more... Half an hour later I was waving all around the room... I think my neighbors thought I went crazy.. they were avoiding me for a while :) But the best value is when I let kids play on it. It is soooo simple to use... And the games are so playable. And the best thing was that I forced some kids to move while playing (not just sitting all day long and moving just a few fingers). I even don't let them play other games... and they don't mind... they love it also
I like that this technology doesn't cost as much as the Wii and that it is an addition to my existing system PS2. I don't like the lighting issues, but I have been able to work around them. I decided to buy this to increase my activity levels and hopefully begin to lose those 30 pounds that have been on my New Year's Resolution list for four years, lol.
This is an awesome game! I get a great deal of enjoyment and exercise from it. I am 46+ years old and used to play with my son when he was 19 years old. Enjoyed it then and still enjoy it today!
The Eye Toy is a very inexpensive alternative to the very expensive and hard to find Wii system. This add-on to the PS2 allows you to appear on screen in the games made for it and your arms and hands control the actions. Playing games with the Eye Toy forces one to stop being a couch potato and actually MOVE. Plus, it is very, very fun.
