The factory, being Holden use a brass Schroeder valve which corrodes the aluminium so when you go to swap Schroeder core valve out with one that doesn't corrode. The factory one has and are known the break off leaving corroded part stuck sometimes permanent. Which means you have to order a new ac manifold suction discharge pipe line. Quality is good just the dis- similar reaction metal corrosion that occurs ruins a perfectly good second hand part. The correct seal on the Schroeder valve core is green nolathane especially r134a systems as they use a pag oil which normal black rubber seals or o rings does not last, i've repaired or serviced over 300 car ac's in my time mostly Holden's 20 have broken at the Schroder core because of the factory one is brass.
