I’ve lost 8kg in a month
I bought this air fryer because we made a pact to start eating healthier. We are on a 6 week diet that allows no sugar, no carbs & no dairy (pretty much no reason to live! Lol) I thought it was going to be really difficult but this little device makes everything really tasty! Even with nothing but salt and pepper, but I make up a mixture of crushed garlic, fresh herbs (I use parsley, rosemary, thyme and a little fresh chilli) with some oil (I know the point is to not use oil but it’s only a little bit and it makes everything a little less dry). I make enough to last a week and keep it in the fridge. Put a little on my defrosted meat and fresh veg and chuck it all in together. 10-25 minutes later it’s amazing every time! Note: it takes a few goes to figure out how long you want things to cook for. It has a picture of the different meats and automatically sets it to a suggested cooking time but you may have to tweak it and go a little more or less. Eg: we do 10 minutes for a medium- medium rare steak about 10mm thick, 25 minutes for chicken breast or thigh or thick pork chops. Carrots cut into thin sticks and chunks of capsicum take about 25 minutes. Veg like asparagus, zucchini, mushrooms take about 10 minutes. You turn everything over half way through your cook so depending on what veg I want, I might add some at the start then more at the half way mark. The product is fine, but the information given is very sketchy and hard to follow. The recipe book is printed for Asian cooking. Nothing in the book about cooking vegetables or processed food.
