Very useful meter for RV installations.
I have installed this meter in my motor home to give me a better idea of battery capacity as I have just installed a 1500W inverter. Instructions are adequate, a bit more explanation of features would make it easier but if you have reasonable knowledge you can work it out. The meter displays everything you want to know and seems more accurate than my solar controller so it is doing the job very well. One complaint is I wish there was some sort of bezel on the display, it is a bit tricky to install and make it look neat, a bezel would give this meter a 100% satisfaction rating, without it I give it 90% for making me do extra work. I installed mine in a clear lid box from Jaycar with holes drilled in it to access the buttons which I fitted with extended tabs to activate the buttons.

Good product
This unit has good instructions and is very easy to install if you have a basic understanding of electronics. The unit works very well and is a cheap must have if you want to monitor a solar battery + inverter system. Its very accurate and gives an up to date reading of your battery capacity, current draw plus voltage. The only downside is that it needs a clip on face plate to tidy up the installation.

Very surprised. The unit is vastly superior to any other controller out there, packed with features and has an easy to understand english manual. On top of that the hall sensor can be calibrated, it has two programmable relay outputs and is costs the same as all the inferior products out there.

Should be o.k, but requires a bit of fitting to make it look professional.
Compact unit, providing multiple functions. The hall effect sensor is good, as extra terminations on a shunt are avoided with this method. I would have preferred a 12 volt supply to the digital display, instead of the 5volt USB connector. Also, I would have preferred the display had a "finished" front panel with push buttons, instead of an open PCB with board mounted buttons that need to be panel mounted with facia.

Provides exactly what I needed.
Manual is a little vague for all of the functionality it offers, found a better one on line. Voltage measurement is very accurate. Once setup it works perfectly for monitoring AH discharge and charge.
