First of all i'll always have a personal grudge to this game and the whole "Cesareon" sub-plot. Ugh. Into the game, Rygar The Battle Of Argus is as port with minor twists of the PS2 Game "Rygar: The Legendary Warrior". Grecoroman mythology serves up as the stage for the story in this game. Story: 2/5 The plot in this game is sub-par, full of cliches and all over the place. I could predict most of what was about to happen long before it did. That's how basic it is. Gameplay: 4/5 I trully enjoyed playing the main campaing of this game. Controls were easy to learn and they worked for me. Gladiator mode, one of the new aditions to the game, plays in a different way, here you'll have to use motion control FAR WAY MORE than you will in the main mode. Just like you'd expect, you more your character with the Nunchuck's stick, attack with the A and B buttons, etc. Sound: 3/5 The overall sound of the game is nothing special, aside from a few tracks, the special effects and music are not bad, but not good either. Overall, this game is quite short. You could clear the story mode in 4 hours if you wanted to. This a third person action game, as such it's good. If you are expecting God Of War, you'll be disappointed. Boss fights can be fun and exploration is very well done. Might be a port, but still worth trying if you can get it for cheap.Read full review
this game would be fun for a hack n slash game if the camera angle could be changed. i played it for a total of one hour and got so fed up with the camera i literally just ejected it without saving. when fighting an enemy it seems like you have to stand perfectly still or else the camera changes direction and instead of running toward your opponent your seen running away and your back is open to attack. if the camera is prone to changing direction at any time then you have to have a good thumb to be able to quickly change your direction of travel at all times. i will continue to play this game but a game almost like it and much much better would be Dragon Blade: Wrath of Fire. i found it for 7.99 at the local Gamestop and it at least lets you adjust the camera. As far as this game goes i give it a 6/10 for playability but a 2/10 for camera overall experience 3/10. i do not recomend this game.Read full review

Its a great game, really fun. What you would expect of an RPG game. More for a beginner or intermediate player. Anyones whos an expert RPG player will go through this game pretty fast. But husband really loves it anyway.
Great rpg game. Bought it for the kids, but it keeps the hubby entertained as well. He said it reminded him of God of War.
Game is totally frustrating, no check point system. Multiple back to back boss battles. Shoulda read reviews 1st.
This is the closest thing you can get to having a God Of War game on the Wii. Right down to the mythological creatures you get to face.
Rygar: The Battle of Argus is extremely fun. This is the type of game that anyone can pick up and play and have a good time.
Very good
