I fitted this evaporator today, and whilst trying to fit the new TX valve to it the bolt holes stripped out without even getting the valve seated, I would not recommend anyone buy this model, it’s cheap price might seem like an advantage, but it’s cheap Chinese alloy will leave you back in the position you were in before you purchased it, your evaporator will be stuffed and you’ll need a new one. Try to find a genuine one as opposed to this garbage! The 5 year warranty doesn’t cover faulty manufacturing and stripped bolts are apparently user error 100% of the time. AVOID AVOID AVOID.
