Water fountain for cats
I bought this for our newly acquired ragdoll cat Benson. He hasn't worked out how to use it yet. Last night splashed with fountain water by spinning it. He showed some interest. Great idea. Easy to put together & easy to clean. I introduced the Water Fountain to five of my cats about a week ago and initially they were captivated and entertained by the flow of the water. However, only one of my cats has actually taken to it and drinks from it. The problem is, my two cats that really need to increase their water intake ignore the Water Fountain totally. Could be improved upon.
It is difficult to actually see the water level through the small window at the side. The pump can be noisy which may be due to low water level (refer above comment). When the "flower" isn't attached the water does not flow evenly but just out of one quadrant, so I was resigned to propping up the water dispenser to make the water flow evenly. Finally get my sink back
I was fed up with my cats constantly hogging the bathroom sinks, it took them a while to realise what this fountain was ..even though it sat in between their feed bowls, but finally one of them twigged and now I get the bathroom to myself. Our cat has Kidney problems and needs to drink a lot of water. Even at his age(16 yrs) he soon got used to it and now drinks from it whenever he needs to .
