Quality genuine part justifies extra cost compared to cast alloy aftermarket versions.
I somewhat reluctantly decided to pay extra to obtain the genuine Toyota part, based on other purchasers' reviews that claimed it was made of much stronger materials than the cheap cast alloy ones. There was a significant price difference between the genuine and the aftermarket ones, and it does seem rather expensive for what you get and how simple it is, HOWEVER, I plan to keep my Toyota Kluger for many years, and I am hopeful this genuine part will last a lot longer than the cheap versions, and if it does, that will well and truly justify the high initial purchase price.

Genuine Toyota Oil Filter Wrench strong steel construction
Perfect fit with 3/8th drive exactly for Kluger 2013 I have. Perhaps a bit more expensive than possible other after market filter wrenches but I know this one is exactly right. Made of steel so strong and plated so no rust.
