Case finishing not top notch
The quality of the casing doesn't seem to be top notch. I have used remote for same year American Specs Camry and found the case to be nicely finished. Otherwise the electronics work fine at the moment as i have received the item just today. Programming was very easy and the instructions are available all over the internet. This was a Genuine OEM product and i had no better choice than this.

Avalon Remote
Worked on my 2002 Avalon MCX10 after obtaining set up instructions from the internet (they did not come with the control) use Australian sites not American. Try googling Toyota Remote - LSC. Be sure to turn key off and on very quickly within 5 seconds leaving in the on position.
