It is a musical history of the Soundies.
"Soundies" are original musical shorts (think early MTV) created for video jukeboxes in the 1940's preserving performances of some of the greatest entertainers of the period. This is a well produced and written history of "Soundies," appropriately hosted by Michael Feinstein, the award winning performer, collector and historian of the American Popular Songbook.
