This black stool can be used when practising a guitar solo or when recording a track. Its two-point stand is reinforced with horizontal bars; helping to ensure stability when playing. There are separate supports for the feet of the user and the height of the entire stand can be adjusted through the use of a hand-tightened screw found directly underneath the seat. Better than nothing!
This seat is useful as it can be adjusted in a number of ways and can be flattened for carting around. It is reasonably comfortable to sit on and can be easily configured to suit personal preferences also. Unfortunately the padded seat itself remains rickety at all times and slips forward/rearward every time you sit or stand up from it & sometimes whilst actually seated. This is very disconcerting and creates the feeling of falling off. Some people would consider this a fair trade-off for the collapsible portability, however I expect I will eventually get mine welded into a solid fixture (just the seat part). .. still you pay peanuts .. can't expect much!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Check carefully
This is a great stool, comfortable to use. But you must check that it is assembled correctly. When mine arrived the seat assembly had been inserted back to front, so that the pin securing the tilt mechanism did not engage. When I sat on the seat the seat tilted, and the entire stool folded up and sent me to the floor. Fortunately I was uninjured, but it could have been worse. When I figured out what had gone wrong, I reversed the seat assembly, only to find that the holes where that fixing pin was meant to go were misaligned by about 0.5 mm, so the pin did not go in. That was fixed in 2 minutes with an electric drill, but should not have been necessary. I suggest the manufacturer or the retailer check their existing stock and their quality control procedures.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Ergonomically sound.
I use this stool when playing my guitar. The foot rest and seat height adjusts easily allowing me to get a comfortable position. Initially, I found the seat's padding compressed really quickly and became uncomfortable. However, once I got used to it I didn't feel uncomfortable any more. Finally, the seat has some 'forward-backward play' in it due to a thinner bolt than the hole it sits in. Again, after much playing, I got used to it. Obviously, a purchaser should not have to deal with the above issues...however, as mentioned, after a while I became oblivious to these points. Great for playing guitar
As a beginner to guitar I was struggling to get comfortable on chairs to play. This stool is great! The adjustable height an foot peg has really helped. OK but it needs some adjustments
Pro's - Its cost effective, easy to transport and fairly sturdy. Its a convenient stool for taking to rehearsals. Cons - You need to add extra screws to the seat as there is rotational movement. Had to Drill extra holes to adjust the seat to a more comfortable height. If your prepared to make some (power tool) adjustments its reasonable value. Great chair - good price - great telescope observers chair
Great chair - I was looking for something that was easily adjustable for use with a dobsonian telescope. Mine is a 10” 2100mm dob. I am 192cm tall.
