I've always had trouble hitting my 4 and 5 iron and this club is a great replacement. It outperforms my 5 iron in many ways. It takes some getting used to because of the lighter weight, but I am happy with the club itself. I have also begun phasing out my 2 iron for getting out of bad lies in the rough and using this club. Great buy.

Better feel and easier to hit than expected. You still have to put a legitimately decent swing on it so it's not a cure for a bad swing, but it is much easier to work with than a long iron. I have not worked with it out of really heavy rough yet so my review thus far is limited to fairways and lighter rough.

I enjoy the yardage gaps being closely matched with my G-10 irons. Nice high launch with the Proforce V2 shaft. I owned a 21 degree and decided to purchase an 18 degree for tee shots and to replace the fairway woods I am so inconsistent with. I love the 18 degree for bump and run when you are just off the green as well. I get a little less distance than the Nike Slingshot hybrids I previously owned, but the distances are far more consistent, and in turn, useful. I don't work the ball much other than trying to hit low shots into the wind, so not much help there. I do struggle hitting a low stinger with these, but the long soft shots are worth it. It is worth noting that Ping is a fantastic company and has great customer service. I just sent my irons to them and had lie adjusted for $18...Seriously...They could have easily said $50 and I would have paid it without blinking. I love new clubs and tinkering, but after 4 sets in the last 3 years it is basically which model from Ping do I plan to own from now on.Read full review
I picked up a 21 degree second hand, i needed to fill a gap in my bag but having used various rescues in the past with mixed results and tending to be hook machines, in my hands anyway, i wasn't that enthusiastic about it at first. After being a virtual passenger for a few rounds at least, some poor drives made me reach for this clubs with suprising results. I can shape it either way and control the hight of my shots and really open my shoulders if i need to. I'm no expert but i believe it is more down to the Grafalloy red stiff shaft suiting my swing. The contact is really good overall but exceptional when hit out the button. This is my goto club when all else fails. I grabbed the 24 with the same set up when it became available, i hope i can have the same success with it as i have had with the 21. Infact i switched my titlest 735 irons to ping i10's because of this club.Read full review
Ping G10 hybrids are discontinued as new from the factory. They have taken many strokes off my average game. I have used e:bay to acquire more of them. I now have 2-6 irons displaced by Hybrids 18/21/24/28/32. One needs to be careful what shaft is included with each club as Ping's shafts make a big difference. Get a Ping fitting done to find out what your shaft flex should be. Ping G10 hybrids are the essence of my golf game at the moment.
