Wear and damage are reduced by the ignitor's rotating cobalt magnets, and the device's epoxy molding creates a shield against dirt, moisture, and grease. This ignitor can be installed by the vehicle owner or a licensed repair shop.

Pertronix electronic ignition
You take out the points and condenser and replace them with a magnet and module. Never change points again. Much hotter spark. Works when the battery is low.
