The Last MS combat flight game. Neither horrible nor great, but has force feedback and many planes to fly.
This game will still fly on Win 7, and using an old MS sidewinder 2, you can still play it with force feedback. Although i'v seen worse games, Most of this game seems like an afterthought, The aircraft are diverse, you can fly a JU88 and an ME262 as well, the controls can be set how you want easily, and you have choice of fighter or bomber missions. MS combat flight 1 was the best 2 was not bad (my favorite part is landing on the carrier) and this one is a logical progression from those. The graphics are a bit crude compared to today but that's to be expected. Anyhow if you like flyiing games this would not be a bad choice, I just wouldn't pay over $30 tops.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Almost not worth buying.
I bought this really cheap on eBay after I saw a site offering an add-on pack, so I thought it must be a half way decent game. Especially considering it was only released back in like 2009 I think. Even though this CFS3 game is 22+ years...
Even though this CFS3 game is 22+ years old,,it has always been the gold standard to base all future WWII flying games off of,, even being PC or console .. It will also install & run on Windows 11,, with the ''no CD ''patch & v3.1 upgrades.. It runs super smooth also,, & you can bump graphics ''all the way up'',, with windows 10 &11 PC's,, like no problem. This installed on my Windows 10 computer with no problems and no extra steps required. I had CFS 1 and 2 and they would not work at all. CFS 3 is different than the first two, so it takes some time to learn. I expected this to be like the original microsoft flight combat simulater. NOT even close!
Sorry i wasted my money. I was expecting it to be like original WWII microsoft combat flight simulator! NOT even close. Limited planes, no hurricane even. Directed missions , hard to change planes on missions. all around just 10% of original. But if you didn't have the wonderful experience of that original simulater, it might work for you.
