Easy to install; works great
Bought a new set of floor mats for my wife's Acura MDX ('02), and everything was great, except the passenger side front mat grommet didn't line up with the floor clip. Off by like an inch. Sigh. Went to eBay to look for a do-it-yourself grommet and found this one, which was same size as the original, basically. Drilled a hole in the mat in the appropriate location and installed this in it. Dug through a box of old Honda parts and found a "silky ivory" colored Accord door clip that snapped into the misaligned grommet hole, to kind of conceal this little altercation. I'm ok with it, tbh.

Right part...did the job
It’s still amazing to me that you can find just about anything you need online. This relatively obscure part was needed to fix a carpet anchor for my Tacoma that had pulled out. Found it in about 5 minutes on EBay...exactly fixed the issue.

Was almost big enough
This is a genius design. Unfortunately it wasnt big enough to work in my carpet because the tear on the hook hole was so large that it was still able to fold it out. So I got some multi thread heavy duty yarn and heavy duty needles from the craft store and stitched the plastic of the carpet nice and tight together. I went all around the tears to give it maximum support. Then I inserted this device and it snapped right into place and locked the carpet. With my Toyota Supra - I had to get to this area by sneaking in where the fuel door and trunk release levers are located. Once I got to it, inserting this device was a piece of cake. Now my Supra mats are securely installed and will never go anywhere!

No more ugly hole
I bought my land cruiser used and it never had the grommet in the the floor. Just an ugly hole. I also bought a new floor mat with the piece that goes into the grommet to hold the floor mat. It looks good and now I can keep my mat in place.

Worked for my 2007 Yaris Sedan S
I previously wrote a Toyota dealer that sell parts online as one of the rings on the floor liner broke off and I wanted to find the replacement ring. Their answer was I had to redo the whole liner. I found the right part, ordered it, installed it and now my liner and hole for the hook is as good as new.

Does the job
They feel a bit cheepy, but they have held up so far. The flange is very big which helps stayed anchored even with a wallowed out carpet hole. Had to unclip the carpet on the door side to slide the bottom piece under. No big deal, and they work great.
