These parts are total trash! Lifters are very soft. No amount of assembly lube, moly paste, or experience can save these parts. The cam eats away at the lifters chewing them down my 1/8" in 20 minutes. It is not just the lifters, the cam suffers from the same terrible material. See pics. The timing set is 0.007" smaller in diameter than the crank. Wont go on even after bringing in the torch unless you break it. The different timing adjustment slots have nice right corners, perfect for stress fractures. You won't find that feature in any decent timing set from a competent company. Maybe I just got unlucky and got the smallest diameter sprocket, just speaks to their variation control. Do NOT buy this set thinking you will save money. It will cost way more to rebuild considering the time required to rid the engine of debris and the parts you have to replace. Stay away from this set and stay away from EnginePro. Read full review

Lopey idle, great throttle response, perfect for a street rod. Sounds bigger than what it is. Works with stock small block valve springs. Works best with 2500 stall converter. Perfect choice for a budget build.
