Yamaha rx-v3800
Good amount of power. Audio settings are a pain. I'm using it just for music and theirs only so much tweaking you can do with this receiver. The surround sound I can't speak for. A bluetooth transmitter with the fiber optic connection is a good idea if you want good sound and better volume using a wireless device to play music. I'm running on front speakers with 4 sets of Bose 301s ran in a parallel series making 8ohms. Its loud!

If one looks at new receivers, they now don't have many of the old inputs for older products. That is why this older product is more needed. You can keep your older players.
