Good All Round Measuring Jug
I've used a Pyrex measuring jug for years now , the first one was given to me when I was expecting my daughter over forty years ago and it was great for heating up baby bottles and obviously measuring the boiled water to make the bottles up. I think I've had two more since then , my favourite jug for making gravy. I've had plastic ones which were ok but my go to jug is always my Pyrex ! Disappointed!
So very disappointed that this Leaky jug has been changed from a reliable jug that had a wider spout that didn’t leak to this updated version that makes such a mess when pouring. Why I have Two!!
By having two, I can divide a tin of Heinz Tomato Soup equally between them. ( I buy them as Multi-buy!). I put one in the fridge for next day. The other I pour milk in up to the 400 ml. level (For a 400 g tin). I Blend the liquid until froth on top. That puts it over the 400 ml. mark. I then divide it equally between two large Spode soup plates, (Blue Italian), one for me and one for my wife. For her, I cut the middle of a slice of white sandwich loaf into 4 thin strips. The outer pieces she has buttered with Comb Honey on fingers, the strips I cut into tiny cubes. I add these to her soup after Microwaving for 1 min. 40 secs. It Tastes great and is a pleasure she can enjoy in spite of her Dementia!! It wouldn't be possible without the reliable markings on the Jugs giving us accurate taste every day!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
