A little goes a long way
Doing some touch up paint work on my old Toyota. Was looking for something not too harsh, but strong enough to cut thru old wax / road tar / grit stuck in paint / etc. This stuff fit the bill. Does not harm the clearcoat, but with a little elbow grease, gets off the stubborn stuff. A little goes a long way. Does not evaporate quickly. Works just as well as Acetone, but much cheaper, and is made for car paint. Just need to use a lint free rag with it. Very happy with this product. It's just too expensive nowadays to get a car re-painted. Back in my " young" days, ( 1980's ), automotive paint was cheap. I would just lightly sand a car, and re-spray the whole car with a spray gun. There were actual stores that just sold car paint / thinner/ sandpaper/ etc. Those days are long gone :(....Excellent product !!!!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Kleen strip air craft paint stripper
Bought this product to strip paint off aluminum , and did not perform as well as I thought. Applied first coat, after a few minutes, started bubbling up in a few spots. I was able to scrape the paint off very easily. Did 3 more coats over time, and only to achieve maby 60 percent of the paint to come off. Works within minutes!
Purchased this to remove the coating from a 70s tulip table base. (It’s white paint over a plastic type of coating) almost impossible to remove. This stuff basically melted it off. Sanded the iron base down afterwards and have a completely smooth surface now. The smell is strong so definitely needs to be used in a well ventilated area or outside is probably best.

Airstream Stripper
I purchased this at the advice of Airstream owners to strip the clear from my 77 Trailer. Product is noxious so use a mask and I actually found it to be less effective than the citrus product from my Local big box. The old formula is the way to go. You will be wasting time and money with the new formula does not work left it on fiberglass hood for an hour and no peeling of paint. I purchased old formula peeled paint, primer and gel coat in 15-20 min. only thing is watch your time. Next I washed with lacquer thinner followed with lots of water to remove paint remover.
