Non standard use of item
Really hard to answer the questions about recommend, value, quality as it's a sealed diode. I am using it as an anti feedback device on an outboard motor. I want the outboard to charge the main battery but don't want the main engine's alternator to backfeed into the outboard's charging coils.

Exactly what I needed
This is a GM diode but I'm using it to boost the voltage of my 4Runner's alternator to charge my AGM battery better. Gave me a bump of about .5v accross the board.
