It fits, but with minor differences
This jug is not an EXACT replacement for the OEM 2013 Chevy Silverado 2500 HD 6.6 L Duramax truck. It fits in the same mounting holes as the OEM jug, but it is shaped differently than the OEM jug. The front of the OEM jug has a 45° taper on the front face on the headlights side and this jug is full square faced. That doesn't interfere with anything though and provides slightly more coolant storage capacity. The top radiator hose nipple is on the opposite side of the top of this jug as compared to the OEM. That means that the radiator hose has to pass very close to the wiring harness for the mass air sensor and it is a tight fit to get it to clear without the hose rubbing on the harness. Again, it is not a major problem. There is a plastic tab on the front of the OEM jug on the firewall side about midway up the front face. That tab is for a plastic clip that keeps the wiring harness away from the jug and away from other obstructions. That tab is missing on this jug. I solved the problem by using a cable tie to tie off the wiring harness to the air conditioning line. The bolt holes for this jug line up perfectly with the holes in the fender and the rear mounting boss fits perfectly against the side mount of the fender. I am satisfied with this jug. It is well constructed and should last a long time. Total installation time was about an hour. The original cap fit the jug perfectly so I didn't have to replace it. I gave this jug 4 stars only because of the location of the top hose nipple and the missing wiring harness tab on the front face. The eBay listing said it was a direct fit for my truck and it is, but with the minor differences I noted.
