my honest view on these headphones is very positive , i have a pair of very expensive sennheisers which are now over 25 years old , and they finnally packed up , so , i thought i would buy a cheap pair while they are being repaired , now cheap the akg,s maybe , but they are well built , very comfortable and sound great , highs are crisp and clear and the bass is very tight , whilst midrange is subtle without being muddy , if you are looking for a good pair of headphones without paying a fortune , then look no further , because they out shine the price .
These headphones are very light with an excellent fit, I use them mostly for watching TV, through them voices remain clear, the base is deep and 'left/right' sound is effective, they also vastly reduce the intrusion of outside noise. I would recommend them.
I bought these headphones as a cheap additional pair to be used by musicians whilst I was recording / tracking, and needed a closed back pair to stop spillage from click tracks/monitoring getting to microphones. In this regard these fail miserably - they are not closed back at all - the vents are open, and as such, are useless for the purpose I needed them for. However, as a cheap pair of listening headphones, that are quite comfortable - they do alright, for the money. Bear in mind however, that they really are not closed back - so people next to you will be able to hear what your'e listening to.
The best headphones I've ever tried within the £30-60 bracket. Well balanced and spacious sound. I'm happy.
