    OEM backwards compatable

    The FP on my 71 FJ40 sprung a leak. This will work on older F series engines just fine, despite Toyota listing it for 74~77 model years. The fuel pump for earlier model FJs has been discontinued, along with rebuild kits. The only difference is the input fitting is in a different location and of a different design, but it will work fine. Price was great and it's true Toyota OEM!

    OEM Fit

    Fit and quality are good and the fuel pump came with two gaskets. It took about an hour to install due to having to scrape the old gasket from the engine block to make a clean mounting surface. New pump fit right in place and the fuel lines fit right in place with no modifications.
