Lima didn’t quite get the livery spot on with these locos - purists will notice that the logo size and numbering font are a little on the generic side.
The class 33 diesel is a very old Lima model but it looks good and runs well at all speeds from a crawl up to an unrealistically high speed. Lima didn't quite get the paint scheme correct over the cab roofs but this is easily corrected. The only issue I have with this particular model is that it wobbles a little from side to side when on the move. I believe this is due to the age of the traction tyres which look a little warped. I am hoping that a new set of tyres will cure the problem.
I bought this as my grandson has one with bits missing, and I wanted to check which bits. The loco runs fine and looks good. Curiously, my grandson's blue version is smaller.
