Not worth the price.
Master output was low even when red light blinks, announcing beginning of distortion. Noisy interface to monitors with noticeable hiss present even with balanced cable used to Amplifier. Internal Shielding is poor. (But this is expected as this is not the PRO model...) Also drains phone battery from 100 to 70 percent when used for an hour, and the phone cannot be charged while in use. Does not come with USB-C cable, and supplied cables are too short (50cm.) for other than head shot distances. This sometimes does not work with Samsung Note 8, Fiddly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works directly with my iPhone 11
I wanted something I could record into my phone with while still being about to hear it out of my studio monitors. This “just worked” when I plugged it in to my iPhone and recorded a video using the Camera app. I didn’t try any other apps but it seems to override using the phone’s microphone when it’s plugged in. The only “downsides” to consider, which aren’t problems for me but might matter: It uses the battery from the phone to power itself when you use it to record to the iphone (if you don’t want to record into the phone, any regular USB power cable seems to worth though). There’s no internal battery. It does not seem to use much phone battery though so no issues for me so far. You have to mount or hold your phone if you want to play while taking a video. I only mention this because the similar “PRO” version of this has a cradle to hold your phone. There’s per-channel volume knob but you can’t tell by looking at it if all the volumes are at the correct levels (only one indicator at a time) so nothing sounds to loud or quiet. Since the monitor out is separate from the line going to the phone, you just have to trust that if it sounds ok in the monitor it’s probably ok in the mix being recorded. For my use-case, price point, and wanting something portable, this was an excellent purchase and I would recommend it if you want to record audio into your phone, especially on the go.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
