Junk with no features
Except for the unsharpened metal blades, this crusher is made entirely of thin flimsy plastic. Even the handle, which had no way of being retained to the body and continually slipped off while trying to operate the crusher, and is not as pictured in the listing. Notice the metal handle on the ice crusher pictured. It took about five whole minutes to crush one container of ice, bust a couple knuckles and eventually throw this thing in the garbage. Life span of 10 min. Price is tempting, but throwing your money in a campfire would be more entertaining.

Great with refrigerator softened ice cubes.
The ice crusher is good quality, the only problem is that if you try to crush ice cubes straight out of the freezer, it doesn't work well. My solution is to put ziplock bags of ice cubes down in the refrigerator and allow them to soften some. Then it works great.
