    The item works but makes a really loud noise when rewinding that is not normal function. This was not mentioned in the description and should have been listed as working but needs repair. The description was misleading since there was no mention of the noise that it makes. It’s non-returnable so I’m stuck with an item that nobody wants to listen to (high pitch squealing) so it’s going to the goodwill or trash.

    WORKS GREAT FOR ONE WAY WINDING.

    This product is good quality, and works as it was meant to, however, there is one thing that I didn't like about this product. It only winds in one direction. Most VHS rewinders rewind, AND fast forwards. It's no fault of the product, I just should have read the listing more carefully and asked more questions. The product works just fine.

    It is junk. It apparently wasn't tested before selling it. The lid didn't close good so it wouldn't rewind and even if you held the lid down it rewound very slowly and squealed the whole time. It took about 30 minutes to rewind a 6 hour vcr tape. Then it didn't automatically shut off. Also pieces of the plastic casting on the front were broke off and missing

    There are not a lot of choices for a re-winder anymore so this one does the job at a low price. I had the "heavy duty- commercial model" from the same maker, but the price increase makes it not worth it. It was only twenty bucks when I bought it. I'd rather buy two cheap ones instead. How long it will last is any ones guess.

    Works, but you have to watch it

    Sometimes when it gets to the end of rewinding, it keeps trying to rewind instead of stopping and ejecting the tape. You just have to watch it. My concern is that if left, it could ruin the tape or burn out the rewinders motor. Otherwise it works.

    Save Wear & Tear on your VCR

    A very efficient unit. Just drop the tape in and it starts automatically. It shuts off when it reaches the beginning of the tape. It then pops up, ready for you to take it out. One of the most highly rated rewinders on the market.
