Garmin Remote dog collar
I needed a new electronic collar because my DogTra needed to be replaced. I would go with the Garmin since it is easier to pair another collar, where the DogTra you couldn't expand the IQ collar. The downside is that our GSD has such a thick winter coat it is difficult to get the probes to give a mild correction, so I use the vibration. The DogTra collar I had to send back since the collar case cracked, poor design, so I carefully reviewed how the Garmin case was made, much better should your dog decide to scratch their neck. I think our guys nails destroyed the IQ case because of the poor design. It's very easy to move the Garmin on the collar, which we will probably replace, the Garmin collar is pretty thin, should be a little more hefty for large dogs. Pros, easy to turn on/off, easy to charge. Cons, thin collar, difficult for probes to get thru a winter coat.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Decent for the price, but way less quality than the tri-tronics
The first thing that is obvious is the collar. Very cheap and flimsy compared to tri-tronics predecessor. My unit is new so I worry that it will last like the tri-tronics unit. If the collar is cheap the rest prolly is, too. Time will tell.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Many options
This product has many preset option on how to train your dog. Whether your just trying to teach obedience or train a hunting dog I believe this product works well. It does however take time to get used to all the buttons and what they do. If you use the bark limiter the battery seems to run down much faster but I just charge it at night. I chose not to cut the extra collar off, due to my dog still being a puppy, but in the first week she found a way to chew up part of the collar. I fixed that with some Velcro strap I had laying around. All in All i believe this product works and does its job.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

This is one of the best training collars on the market at 40% less than I could buy it locally. The shipping was fast I ordered it on Tuesday and had it to go to the coast on Friday. Works great on nearly any size dog

Parts missing
