I wish I hadn't waited to buy this; it would have saved bashed knuckles, swear words and paint scratches on the bike. It has the longest handle of any pedal removal tool I've ever used--14 inches. Leverage is superb. Chrom-moly steel is very hard; no chamfering or slipping off the pedal nut.

The PW-4 is simply THE pedal wrench. It has TWO jaws at DIFFERENT angles, which is immensely useful -- I can always easily position it for best leverage, even when leaning awkwardly over the top of a bike to work quickly. The jaws are thicker than any other I have, for less distortion and wear and damage, and less risk of rounding off the flats on the pedal. Longer handle, oh, yes. Now... I do use one other pedal wrench. It is a small one that I have attached a hand-crank knob to, so I can spin it around and remove or install the pedal very quickly after breaking it loose with the PW-4. Those two are all I ever use anymore. Anything in between is useless. :-)

I ordered this pedal wrench after wrestling with a stuck pedal for weeks. I have two other pedal wrenches and neither was able to get the pedal off. Also tried box end wrenches. To no avail. Within 2 minutes of trying with this wrench, the pedal was off. The leverage it provides is unbeatable and made easy work of one stock pedal.

I got this because a regular wrench would not work on my pedals. This one works great it's thin enough to fit the somewhat narrow space for my pedals but thick enough I don't need to worry about breaking it, the handle is also long enough to give good leverage to break the pedals lose, the bike set outside for 5 years before I got it and the pedals were really stuck on the crank arms.

It's a simple tool, but a pretty damn important one for anyone who works on bikes. This is professional grade, but will take off even the most stubborn of pedals and won't be breaking on you. I'm happy with this. Damn skippy happy.

I used several wrenches/spanners to remove a frozen pedal before using this one, including an inferior one from BikeHand that only cost $11. The BikeHand wrench is made of softer metal and did not work. The Park wrench worked immediately and saved me a trip to the bike repair shop. I'll never worry about loosening a frozen pedal again...!

Long arm and thick. I knew I wouldn't use it a lot, so an acceptable condition wrench was good enough for me.

I have a high-end carbon road bike that could have been damaged using an inferior tool. This tool will do the job, don't waste your money on anything less..

I tend to manage to lock my pedals on pretty solidly, and this wrench gives me the leverage I need to get them off without having to MacGyver anything (extending the handle with a pipe, for example). It's also very high quality, so still a great value for the expense.
